[punknews.org] Halifax Pop Explosion announces dates, lineup
 

The initial lineup for this year's Halifax Pop Explosion has been announced. The annual festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia will host over 60 bands in 5 days and 9 venues. Some of the headlining acts include Ted Leo / Pharmacists, Chixdiggit, FemBots, Hawskley Workman, Japanther and Chad VanGalaan.

The festival will also feature the Independent Music and Arts Confrence, a coming together of indie artists, labels, musicians, zines, comics and more. Showcases, workshops, delegate parties and keynote speakers will be announced soon on HalifaxPopExplosion.com. The festival takes place from October 11th to 15th this year.
