JD Fortune is a gigantic douchebag. I was soooo pissed when he won (I was a Marty supporter), but after seeing INXS perform on stage, I am starting to think Marty really dodged a bullet. I mean it is pretty clear that they have very little interest in updating their sound, as their new song sounds like every other INXS song ever. Stick with what you know?? Eh...not when your sound is like 20 years old. They look really old... they don't pull off the 'aging rocker' thing quite as well as I'd hoped.

Don't get me wrong, I like INXS and I really enjoyed the show a lot..but I think them picking JD says a lot about what they want to do with the band...which is nothing. Marty would have updated their sound, and clearly they don't want that...so...whatever.

Can't say I'll be jumping at the chance to check out this tour or buy this CD... something about JD really rubs me the wrong way. Probably because he's a Canadian Elvis Impersonator, and 2 things about that are annoying.
