<a href="http://www.scarykids.com/">Scary Kids Scaring Kids</a> have cancelled their <a href="article.php?sid=13611">T exas and West Coast</a> dates due to Hurricane Rita. The band sent out this statement:
<blockquote>
Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control (i.e. Hurricane
Rita) we were forced to cancel our September shows in Texas. This led
to a series of events that caused cancellations in a majority of the
markets along the West Coast. We sincerely apologize to all of our
fans that had planned to come out, as well as to Secret Lives of the
Free Masons, Across 5 Aprils, and all of the other bands we were
scheduled
to perform with.
</blockquote>

The originally scheduled dates were in support of their recently released debut full-length, <a href="http://www.punknews.org/reviews.php?op=albumreview&id= 4117"><i>The City Sleeps In Flames</i></a>. The band will be taking a few weeks off before resuming with a tour of the UK. The UK dates will include Welsh act <a href="http://www.bulletformyvalentine.com/website/home.php">Bullet for My Valentine</a> and Brooklyn's <a href="http://www.candiriamusic.com/">Candiria</a>.
<br/><br/>
Following the UK dates, they will return to the US for dates with A Static Lullaby,
Haste The Day, Halifax, and Bedlight For Blue Eyes.
