Yahoo! Music - Velvet Revolver was listed as part of the lineup of bands scheduled for the August 27 date of Ozzfest, in Woodlands, Texas, according to a posting on the festival's official site. Although the band's name has since been taken off the posting, there is speculation that the group has been approached to co-headline the last seven dates of the tour with Black Sabbath. The trek's primary co-headliners, Iron Maiden, will not appear on those shows due to a previous touring commitment overseas.
