[punknews.org] Poison the Well pushes back release of upcoming full length

 

Though the band first entered the studio this past spring, Poison The Well has posted an update suggesting that the album will not be released till next year.



They had this to say:

We finished up with Recording some material in Sweden back earlier this year. Immediately after that we did the Sounds of the Underground tour. Now we are back home writing some more songs for the record.



We thought we where going to be done with it but figured that we have the opportunity to spend more time on it, we might as well do it. We want to deliver the best record we can make and also feel like working more and writing more will make the record better. We expect it to be out sometime next year. I know a lot of you wanted it to be out sooner but don't fear it will get out and it will be something special. We promise this.


Since the release of the their last record, You Come Before You in 2003, the band has seen the departure of guitarist Derek Miller and bassist Mike Gordill. They also spent this summer on the Sounds of the Underground tour.
