guitarist, inventor and studio innovator -- turned 90 on June
9. He celebrated the occasion with the August 30 release of an
all-star Capitol/EMI album, "Les Paul and Friends: American
Made World Played," a rock album featuring such guitar icons as
Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Billy Gibbons. Paul
