Abacus has signed Connecticut hardcore act the Distance. The band will enter the studio in January 2006 to record their debut full-length with Shep Goodman (Head Automatica, Bayside). The Rise, the Fall, and Everything in Between, as it is currently titled, is tentatively set for release in late Spring or early Summer next year. It follows up the band's recent rarities compilation, the Think Fast!-released If You Lived Here You'd Be Home Already.



The band will also head on tour soon with Most Precious Blood, With Honor and Modern Life Is War for three weeks starting at the end of November.
