As some people feared after the Fox/Newscorp buyout of the popular social site, MySpace has allegedly begun silently banning a competitor's site. According to YouTube, Myspace is now removing all YouTube videos as well as any and all references to YouTube itself.

MySpace previously - albeit temporarily - blocked all video embeds in early November, however they have not responded to queries from YouTube or Punknews.org as to why YouTube has been singled out at this point.

Update: Myspace has apparently re-enabled all embeded references to YouTube.
