Boston ska ensemble Westbound Train will be recording their third full length this January in California. The album will follow up 2004's Five To Two, it will also be the band's first release since appearing on the high profile Give `Em The Boot Volume IV compilation. No label has been announced yet, but the band reported earlier in the year that they were close to announcing a deal.



As previously announced the band will be joining the Toasters for a tour this winter, playing along side bands such as Go Jimmy Go, Mustard Plug and Satori along the way. The band will play select dates on their way to California to record, so check their website as those are announced, however those in Boston can catch the band tomorrow at the Axis, where they'll be playing a post-Xmas show with Catch 22.
