The band is currently working on new material as guitarist Ben Weinman recovers from rotator cuff surgery. Bassist Liam Wilson explained the situation saying:

Weinman has been enduring brutal physical rehabilitation and is constrained to a constant passive motion machine six hours a day. He should have had [the operation] six months ago. It was an injury he sustained in a car accident.

The band hopes to resume touring again in April, and are hoping to complete their next full length for a Fall 2006 release via the band's label, Relapse Records. The band also continues to work on their DVD project which has apparently split into two separate releases; one featuring pre-Miss Machine material and videos and another filled with footage captured during the making and touring in support of Machine.

Lastly, Wilson denied rumours that the band will be appearing on Ozzfest.
