John Davis, drummer of the departed Q And Not U, has turned up in a new project. Georgie James features him working with singer-songwriter Laura Burhenn on a variety of styles ranging from "buoyant, dancey rock to folk harmonies." The duo recorded Demos at Dance Place with Chad Clark (Beauty Pill) and TJ Lipple (Aloha) at Inner Ear Studios this past November and are currently working on a full length album. The duo are currently playing a few shows on the East Coast.
