Rhode Island's Monty has signed to Stolen Transmission Records.



The independent label was formed by Rob Stevenson, an A&R executive responsible for the careers of Thrice, The Killers, Fall Out Boy and Sum41, and co-run with Sarah Lewitinn, a former writer for Spin magazine, a VH1 TV personality and online blogger..



The band is among four that have signed on to the label, the others being Permanent Me, the Oohlas and Bright Light Fever.



The band has set a tentative July 18th, 2006 release date for the album and you can check out some material on their myspace page.
