Equal Vision has announced the signing of Buffalo, NY's Damiera. The band independent released their debut EP last December, and recently began work on their debut with Jayson Dezuzio (Coheed and Cambria). Doghouse Records have signed San Diego's Weatherbox. The band will be releasing their debut EP The Clearing on November 7th, which will be followed by a full-length entitled American Art in early 2007.

Think Fast! have announced that hardcore act Youth Attack have broken up. The label notes,
"Sadly, Youth Attack have announced that they will be playing their final show on September 23rd. We are super bummed to see these guys go, but are glad we had the opportunity to release their last two records. Make sure to check them out one last time on September 23rd at the QVCC in Worcester, Massachusetts. It will be a time to remember."
The band released a Break the Ice 7" and an LP entitled Don't Look Back through the label.
