NME is reporting that all 19 singles that the Clash released in the UK will be collected in a boxed set this October. The Singles Box is due October 30th, and will replicate the original sleeves and labels for each 7" release, including the never commercially available NME giveaway Capital Radio EP. The 19 CDs will be packaged in 7" style sleeves and accompanied by a 44-page liner note booklet with contributions from a number of notable musicians. The collection will also include numerous bonus tracks that originated on 12" versions, promos and non-UK b-sides. Six of the songs have never been collected on CD. So far only the UK release has been reported. There's no word yet if the set will be made available in North America.You'll recall that the Buzzcocks had a similar 14 single set released back in 2003.
