Two members of 1208 have announced the formation of the Viewing Era. The band, which includes Neshawn Hubbard and Steve Mccall, posted the following description:

A compilation of thoughts-out-loud complemented by musical instruments, regarded as nothing more than a means to affect. Please do not misconstrue—this is without an inference to anything beyond a co-personal reaction. If an effect does find its way to humble the maze, so be it, we would cherish the privilege and welcomingly oblige.
