Winnipeg's Anthem Red, which features former members of Sixty Stories, are currently finishing up their debut full length Dancing on the Dishwasher. The record was produced by Matt "OCD" Peters (of the Waking Eyes) and mixed / mastered by Craig Boychuck (Propagandhi, Putrescence, Under Pressure) of Mid-fi Audio. Germany's The Company with the Golden Arm will release the album soon, and the band will head to Europe in December to help promote the release. A local record release party will take place in Winnipeg on October 7th at the West End Cultural Center. Guests the Paperbacks and Ian LaRue will support.
