Second Nature Recordings has signed indie/folk act In The Pines. The label had this to say:

Yup, it's been a while since we've added a new band to the roster and we couldn't be more excited to be working with indie/folk masterpiece In The Pines. The band has been stirring quite a buzz over the past year in their hometown of Kansas City and are looking forward to letting their music be heard elsewhere with the release of their debut album.

The album is due out November 7th, 2006 and you can check out two tracks here.
