Gearhead Records has signed Helsinki, Finland's I Walk The Line. The label will release their album Desolation Street on January 23, 2007. The band, which features members of Manifesto Jukebox and Wasted, has been around since 2003 and plays what the label describes as "melancholic, organ-driven punk rock." Desolation Street follows up Badlands, the band's debut record released on Combat Rock Industry in 2004. That label issued the new record in Europe earlier this year. I Walk The Line will cross the Atlantic for their first US tour in March of 2007 with an appearance scheduled for the Gearhead Records showcase at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas.
