Bad news first- Bloc Party have dropped off the tour with Panic! At The Disco after their drummer was hospitalized with a collapsed lung. Plain White T's will be taking their place on the Panic! arena tour.
In other Panic! news, the band is gearing up for their new album. All they have said is 'expect the unexpected' and with the band members all currently in the process of learning new instruments and expanding their abilities, that sounds about right.
The Chili Peppers have added some dates to their US tour in January. Check their site for more information.
In case you missed it, there is a battle right now between Kanye West and Axl Rose for the most ridiculous douche bag in music.
Green Day are set to re-release their first two albums on Reprise Records. For you unfortunate souls who missed it the first go 'round, Kerplunk! and 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours will both be available Dec 19th. For those of you who didn't miss it, you should pick up 1039 anyway because there is apparently alot of bonus material!!

It's possible there will be a Queen movie in the near future...keep checking back for more info on that cause yous knows we're gonna be all over it. In other rock film news, it's rumored that Christopher Walken will be playing Ozzy Osbourne in the Motley Crue movie...and Val Kilmer may play David Lee Roth. ZUH? The film 'The Dirt' based on their book has no release date or any other info yet, but if Walken and Kilmer are in it, I'll be staying on top of this one as well!
Blue October singer Justin Furstenfeld was admitted to a hospital in Grand Rapids, MI on Tuesday due to a leg injury. "After several x-rays and tests, it was determined that he had damaged the bone and ligaments from a previous injury," said a posting on the band's Web site. The band is going back to Texas to let Justin heal and will be rescheduling some of their Canadian dates. Listen to Foiled on Altsounds.fm while you're waiting for him to get better.

No one cares about Britney or K-fed, but I gotta be honest, this is playing out like a Jerry Springer episode (surprised?). If you haven't heard the scoop, basically they're both trying to land a lot of press right now as Britney wants to get back in music and K-fed tries not to embarrass himself with his new album. They stopped talking a couple weeks ago except for emails and she filed for divorce. He gets something like $10 mil from the pre-nup, but that's not enough for him so he's trying to get custody of the kids AND threatening to release their sex tape if she doesn't give him a ton of money. It's all pretty funny if you ask me.
And in more uplifting US news, Democrats took the House and the Senate...woop woop!
