Spin magazine has posted an article documenting the recent charity event,
Rock To Roll. The event was organized by <a href=""/labels/sideonedummy">SideOneDummy's Joe Sib and is to benefit <a href="" "www.wheelsforhumanity.org">Wh eels for Humanity. The group refurbishes donated wheelchairs and hand fits them to children and adults with disabilities in developing nations.To that end, Joe enlisted a number of acts including Against Me!, The Bronx, The Riverboat Gamblers and Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music) backed by members of Flogging Molly. The night also featured a special version of Punk Rock Karaoke (comprised of NOFX's Eric Melvin, Bad Religion/ Circle Jerk's Greg Hetson, Agent Orange/ The Adolescents' Steve Soto, and Social Distortion/ Agent Orange's Derek O'Brien) with vocal performances by a rotating cast including Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, Jim Lindberg of Pennywise, Chris Cheney of The Living End, Mike Ness of Social Distortion and Trever Keith formerly of Face to Face.You can check out the entire story right <a href="http://www.spin.com/features/ithappenedlastnight/2006/12/061215_punkrock/">here.
