Detroit, MI's Hifi Handgrenades, who feature Ryan Vandeberghe, formerly of the Suicide Machines, as well as (ex-)members of Hoarse, the Grand Nationals and Hey Sailor, have posted a song and announced info for their first show. The band attests to playing "melodic punk in the tradition of Descendents, Dag Nasty, Bad Religion, the Replacements and Hüsker Dü."

The tune, entitled "Carry On," is available for streaming on the band's newly unveiled MySpace page. The show will take place Friday, March 9, at Small's.

The Suicide Machines broke up in May 2006.
