A DVD release has been scheduled for American Hardcore, the film based on Steven Blush's controversial 2001 book American Hardcore. The film features the length and breadth of American hardcore personalities including Mike Watt, Vic Bondi, Brett Gurewitz, Kira Roessler (Black Flag), Keith Morris, Tony Cadena, Ian MacKaye, Steve Soto and many, many more. Directing the film is Paul Rachman, a longtime friend of author Steven Blush and director of videos from bands like the Bad Brains and Gang Green. Besides the film itself, the disc will include Deleted Scenes, Live Performances and a Commentary track from both Rachman and Blush.
