The Frames have announced a release date for their upcoming album, The Cost. The record, previously available in Ireland or directly from the band on tour, will hit stores on February 20th on Anti. The label previously released Burn The Maps in 2005.The Irish band recorded the album at France’s Black Box Studios in March and April 2006, the disc continues the ongoing relationship with producer David Odlum – who played guitar in the band from 1990 – 2002 and past engineer Stephen Fitzmaurice.You can check out three tracks from the album on their myspace page.
