LOCKSLEY TAPPED TO PERFORM ON JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE
Locksley have been tapped to perform as musical guests on late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live. The show will air on ABC at 12:05am EST/PST and 11:05pm central on Friday, March 2nd.
Locksley will join the likes of Fall Out Boy, Incubus, and Tenacious D who are also slated to perform on the show in the next several weeks.
In the meantime, the Brooklyn-based four piece have been busy touring with The Rapture in support of their debut album Don’t Make Me Wait. The album is a collection of 13 British Invasion-inspired garage rock tracks played at punk speed. Don’t Make Me Wait hit stores January 16th on the band’s own Feature Records and is already leaving its mark on pop culture – in addition to landing a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and touring with The Rapture Locksley have been featured on SPIN.com as a Band of the Day, the album’s title track graces the background of Cingular/AT&T’s latest commercial, Rollingstone.com listed them as “One of the 25 Best Bands on Myspace,” and their video for “Why Not Me” scored the winning slot on MTVu’s The Freshmen.
