Saturday Looks Good To Me have announced the completion of their new album. The record is titled Fill Up The Room and is due out September 11, 2007. It is the follow-up to Every Night which was released in 2004. In between the band also released a singles and rarities collection titled Sound on Sound.The record marks the band's first release for K Records, and the band promises some changes to their sound:

[The album] represents an expansion in sound andlyrical ideas for the band, moving away from 60's girl group mimicry, andtrying to build a new wall of sound from our own collective consciousness.The songs, though still pure pop at the core, incorporate stretched-outjams, samples, drum circle breakdowns, huge and sporadic many-voicedbraying choruses and elements of tape collage and musique concrete.

The band has also booked some dates.
