Los Angeles' Dollyrots will release their sophmore record Because I'm Awesome on March 13th via Joan Jett's Blackheart Records. The album was produced by Jacques Wait (The Soviettes) and John Fields (who produced the band’s 2004 debut Eat My Heart Out). You can stream the title track via the Blackheart website. The band has announced two SXSW appearances in Austin, TX, one on March 14th at Moonshine followed by a March 16th gig at Emo's with the Vacancies and Girl In A Coma. The band will launch the new record with a CD release show on March 24th at the Airliner in Los Angeles with Go Betty Go.
