Chuck Ragan has set a release date and title for his debut for SideOneDummy. While a proper studio album is expected later in the fall, this first release will feature a live performance. The record is titled Los Feliz and is due out May 08, 2007. The album was recorded on February 19 in Los Feliz, California, and captures a spontaneous performance of songs in a setting that isn't contrived or overly scrutinized. *We set up the show and played it a week later,* Ragan explains about the impromptu performance, which spans everything from traditional songs to a HWM track to previously unreleased solo material and even a few covers. *A lot of good friends came out and played and a lot of people showed up and showed their support,* he continues, *it was nothing but good fun.* Chuck discussed his solo project and his past with HWM in a recent interview.
