The Smartpunk stage on the Warped Tour has announced a new plan to get smaller acts onto the stage this summer. Unlike the Kevin Says stage which is primarily chosen by Warped staff through applications, the Smartpunk promotion will base the selection on fan votes, CD sales, and digital download sales. The top 7bands with the most points will receive a two or five day opening slot onour stage this summer at Warped Tour. The promotion has begun and will run until May 15th. The winning seven acts will join bands already confirmed for our stage include I am Ghost, MaydayParade, Madina Lake, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, The Fold, Anberlin,Alesana, Bless the Fall, Cinematic Sunrise, Haste The Day, Fall of Troy, SoThey Say, Set Your Goals, Envy on the Coast and Drop Dead, Gorgeous.
