Saturday, Rock and Roll daily went back stage at Lollapalooza to check out what was happening behind the scenes. We caught up with Australian rock band Silverchair to talk to us about their band’s new developments just as they were about to sit down to dinner in the artists’ dining area – our culinary tour was disrupted by Ryan Cabrera who asked for a photo with Silverchair singer Daniel Johns. We then jumped on a golf cart to ride to the opposite end of Grant Park to see Interpol arrive and walk the stairs before playing to 40,000+ eager fans. We finished off our night chatting to the artists’ lounge bar tender who ratted out Jeff Tweedys drink stop off.
