Lollapalooza: Backstage With Silverchair and Interpol
 

Saturday, Rock and Roll daily went backstage at Lollapalooza to check out what was happening behind the scenes. Australian rock band Silverchair were just about to sit down to dinner in the artists’ dining area when we caught up with them to ask about their band’s new developments – our culinary tour was disrupted by Ryan Cabrera who nabbed a photo with Silverchair singer Daniel Johns. We then jumped on a golf cart and rode to the opposite end of Grant Park to see Interpol arrive and walk the stairs before playing to 40,000+ eager fans. We finished off our night chatting to the artists’ lounge bar tender who ratted out Jeff Tweedys drink stop off.
