50 Cent accepted a challenge from BET 106 & Park hosts to debate Kanye West live over whose album will make the biggest bang (release dates for both 50’s Curtis and West’s Graduation were pushed back so far that they’re now going head-to-head on September 11th). Kanye, however, decided to call the proposed meeting of the mouths “the stupidest thing” during the MTV Video Music Awards announcement yesterday, meaning there’s no battle of the bling in our future. Fifty had actually predicted that Kanye wouldn’t accept the challenge the other day on BET, adding that if they were to debate, there’s one question that’s taboo: “Just don’t be asking me if I am a conscious rapper. I know exactly what I am saying — so I am conscious.” That’s more than you can say of a reportedly sleepy 50 during his lap dance video shoot for “Ayo Technology.”
