This week marks the long awaited second album from Texas’ own Eisley. Combinations finds the band, made up of 4 siblings and one cousin, pushing their brand of britpop influenced songs into far more orchestral areas. The Duprees worked with film composer and former Oingo Boingo keyboardist Richard Gibbs at his Woodshed Studios in Malibu, CA. The producer helped the quintet explore their more avant-garde impulses on songs such as “If You’re Wondering” and even their rootsier influences on “Ten Cent Blues.” The band is gearing up to support the album with a tour with Mute Math which kicks off in September.
