Dashboard Confessional to return to acoustic with "The Shade of Poison Trees"

Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba, will be returning to an acoustic format with his next album. The record is titled The Shade of Poison Trees and is due out October 02, 2007. Recorded over 10 days in Florida with renowned producer Don Gilmore (Pearl Jam, Linkin Park), the record promises a return to the format of the fan favorites, The Swiss Army Romance [re-issue] and The Places You’ve Come To Fear The Most.A new track from the album is expected to surface via his myspace later tonight.
