Grace Period have posted an update regarding new songs and the release of their CD.
Message From The Bandlast song of the month will be thrown up on thedailychorus.com this thursday. the song is called the shredder. the song title was originally a joke.. but to keep the record fun and careless.. we said who gives a shit and never renamed it. the song has an upbeat tempo, simaler to thoughts of time.. a little more rugged per-say. its a catchy one.. if you like thoughts of time, youll probly enjoy this next one. we also threw "hey baby" on our myspace player so you dont have to stream it on our awful sounding, non-pro purevolume player. were gonna leave some of the best songs to be unheard until we get this record pressed and ready for release. the other six songs on the record are a bit different but i think they all work well together to make a pretty smooth listening, kick ass record. the album pretty much goes from song to song. we really liked the idea of working transitions in and out of each song to make this record its own. still a couple months to get this out on our own. im not trying to make promises, but were really trying to get this cd out around late november. honestly, it all weighs on where were at financially.. the quicker we can all get the money together, the faster we can get the record out. its rough because some of us are still paying for the record itself, but were reeaally trying for novemberish. we came up with a schedule and payment deadlines.. so were trying our best to meet that. still some time before shows as well. as much as we want to play.. we want to focus on getting this record out as soon as we can. then the plan is to start playing our asses off.
thanks,
steve, mike, jeff, sean
