Message From The BandWe're officially back from the great state of avocados and have wonderful news to share with all of you! Thanks to Drive Thru Records, Mark Hoppus, and Chris Holmes, we can officially announce that we have COMPLETED tracking for the new record! Wohoo! We packed our blankets and drove straight across country (only stopping for bathroom breaks and mcdonalds). We ate more fast food than you can imagine! A HUGE thank you goes out to Stefanie Reins and Chi-Chi for letting us live with them for two months because without their hospitality and support we would never have had this opportunity. We had a blast. We locked ourselves into a practice space for the first two and a half weeks. We then moved out of the practice place and into the studio where we were introduced to a Mark Hoppus (Blink 182, Plus-44) and a brilliant engineer named Chris Holmes (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Niel Diamond, Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera). We're all super stoked with the sounds we have gotten and the record we have made. Everyone worked extremely hard. We drank so much coffee and played gorgeous vintage 50's, 60's, & 70's guitars and amplifiers. We recorded 14 tracks in a 20 days. We can't wait to show you guys the final product. Excited is an understatement! We just put up some photos from the studio. Check em out! We don't quite know when the release date will be yet but we promise to tell you guys as soon as we know. There are tours lined up and we can't wait to play you guys the new songs. The dates will be up soon and we better see all of you at the shows!! Thanks again to everyone who made this record possible. It was such an amazing experience and we had such an amazing time. Oh yeah, we have to pick a name for the record too. Anyone have any suggestions? What would you name your record? Send us your ideas and who knows, maybe your title will be the one we pick! That's it for now, guys. Hope everyone is as excited as we are!
