BYO Records has announced details on the Briefs' upcoming DVD / live CD set. The release, which hits stores on October 23rd, will be titled The Greatest Story Ever Told. The film was directed by the band and Lewis Ingram and will feature appearances from the Damned's Captain Sensible, TSOL's Jack Grisham and Rancid's Lars Frederiksen among others. The accompanying CD features 8 tracks from a "rare live, on-air" session. Extras on the DVD include videos for "Stuck On You," "Orange Alert," "Poor & Weird" and "Getting Hit on at the Bank." The band last released Steal Yer Heart in 2005. They'll be in the UK with Misfits this September followed by a European tour.
