The Static Age and drummer Tim Mulley have parted ways.
Message From TimSo, I hereby announce that I am now leaving The Static Age. I thought this would be hard, but as I sit here and type, I'm realizing it's not the end of the world. Moving on from anything can be hard at times, especially if you've put a lot of heart and soul into it, but for me at this moment, I am rather looking forward to pursuing a variety of opportunities ahead of me. I won't get into too much detail about exactly why I've decided to leave because I don't think its pertinent. The bottom line is that I've had my differences, I've been through this before as many people have, and the writing is on the wall. A few months ago I decided to seek out something that suits me better, both personally and professionally, and I'm nearing a decision on what path to take. Unfortunately, to pursue these goals I must now say goodbye to my bandmates and to the awesome fans that have supported us the whole way through. Therefore, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank both the band and the fans for all the good times. This band does have some amazing and loyal fans and I wish you all the very best. The future has a great deal to offer, and I will be rooting for The Static Age as I branch off to walk another road.
so long,
-tim alek
