Tonight, Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem kick off a joint national tour at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl. Rock Daily caught up with frontmen Win Butler and James Murphy at Austin City Limits to find out how the two bands teamed up (apparently Arcade Fire asked LCD to the prom, and Murphy is praying for a wrist corsage) and whether they’ll be playing together onstage (”I don’t know that they need any more,” laments Murphy).
