Cancer Bats set to record
 

Toronto's Cancer Bats have posted an update on the recording progress for their follow-up to 2006's Birthing the Giant. Vocalist Liam Cormier says

After many long hours in a sweaty room with no windows, we’ve managed to bang out a bakers dozen of total rippers! We’re getting super stoked to let this mother loose! This week we go in to the studio to start demos and make sure all the songs don’t suck. Fingers crossed!

In the meantime the band is contributing songs for a split 7" with This is Hell, which is due this fall.
