NYC garage glam heroes Semi Precious Weapons have developed a notoriety for their magnetic live performances - and outrageous videos. And now the band is giving you a chance to participate in the visual madness! Starting immediately, Semi Precious Weapons are launching a contest for you to create a video for their new single Magnetic Baby. Tabloid darling and SPW frontman Justin Tranter took time out from Courtney Love to make this video and give you the details in person:
The lineup of judges for the contest is nothing short of mega: New York Doll Steve Conte, legendary producer Tony Visconti, Morrissey tour partner Kristeen Young and Trent from Pink Is The New Blog - plus the former manager of Johnny Thunders and publicist to Led Zeppelin and T.Rex, SPW manager BP Fallon

Semi Precious Weapons release their debut album We Love You on Tuesday October 30 [Precious Records]

Tranter has also designed a limited edition DKNY sneaker that hits stores January 15.
