Message From The BandHey guys, we really need your help and this would be so rad if you can help us out. Our good friend Matt Kelly runs a wonderful non-profit organization that helps the less fortunate. Chords For A Cure is a beautiful organization set up by Matt, he puts on shows in order to
help different charities across the country and across the world. Last night we were supposed to play a show for Matt in Aston, Pennsylvania at a fire hall and before we got the chance to hit the stage the show got canceled. Someone got caught with weed on premises and someone punched a hole in the bathroom wall. This really saddens my band because we love to help Matt and we rarely turn down charity shows unless it's a schedule conflict. I've yet to speak with Matt but rumor has it that he's calling it quits. This is not the first time something like this happened at one of his shows and now because someone made a stupid decision Chords or A Cure is no longer doing these shows because they are simply running out of places to throw concerts. I'm extremely bummed about this because Matt is one of the most giving people I've ever met, always puts others first. Chords For A Cure tries to help local and touring bands out as much as they can, he truly has a big heart and it really upsets me that he's going to hang it all up. On behalf of Racing Kites I ask you to please send Chords For A Cure an email begging him to continue, I think it's very important for the music scene and all the charities across the world.
