Victory Pill (ex-Pitchshifter, Prodigy) stream entire debut album
Victory Pill, featuring guitarist Jim Davies (ex-Pitchshifter, Prodigy) and drummer Kieron Pepper (ex-Prodigy), have streamed their entire self-titled Corporate Punishment debut at the following location: http://www.altsounds.com/altsounds/bands/5018/
Victory Pill's debut was recorded in Essex, England in guitarist Jim Davies' home studio under the watchful eye of industrial/dance producer Pete Crossman and John Ross (DJ Hyper), who co-produced three of the album's tracks. The band's
debut album lands in stores on October 23rd, 2007 through Corporate Punishment Records.
"We were in a great position to be able to record our own music and not have any other outside influences, which evidently led to the album ended up sounding exactly how we wanted it," says frontman Jim Davies. "The whole idea for this album for me was for it to be done completely on our own terms. I've had many band major label experiences in the past so this album was always going to be D.I.Y which is far more satisfying."
The band is currently offering a free t-shirt to anyone who pre-orders the album through the Corpor ate Punishment website at the following location Corporate Punishment Records, Online Store
Corporate Punishment has also announced the launch of the label's own podcast. The podcast will serve to preview upcoming releases, feature the hottest videos and up to date news on Corporate Punishment artists. One of the premiere episodes of the CPR podcast will feature Victory Pill's own Jim Davies answering fan submitted questions.
