Brightwood have finally updated their myspace with news regarding their new album, label hunts, and everything in between.
Message from the BandFirst, to those of you who continually make it a point to check our profile for updates despite our failure to provide you with such...you deserve better. Our lack of communication might have left some of you wondering whether or not we're still serious about music. Let me be clear...WE ARE.

As of this week, I quit my job (yikes) so I could dedicate every waking moment to finally putting this record in your hands. The truth is, for the past few months, our days just weren't holding enough minutes. Don't get me wrong, headway has been made in the studio when we could squeeze in time...just simply not enough.

It's difficult to believe that it has taken the better part of a year to write, record, and produce what we think is by far the best group of songs we've ever created. Truthfully, the closer we get to releasing this record, the more passionate we are becoming about it. These songs are closer to us than you can imagine, and through all the blood, sweat and tears (no, seriously), this project has made us better musicians, better friends...and just all-around amazing guys
