Sudden Death Records has re-released D.O.A.'s 1995 full length The Black Spot. The 14 track CD has ben out of print for a number of years. The band on the recording features Joe Shithead Keithley, Brian Wimpy Roy Goble and Ford Pier and John Wright of NoMeansNo. Wright stepped in for D.O.A. drummer Ken Jensen, who ahd tragically died ina house fire in January of that year. D.O.A. recently returned home from touring Australia with new drummer James Hayden of Von Zippers. Hayden joined Randy Rampage and Joe Shithead Keithley in time for their September show at Vancouver's Plaza Club to launch the band's new live DVD Smash The State, The Raw Original D.O.A. 1978-81.
