The Maine sprung to life in January of 2007. This five piece ensemble includes vocalist John O'Callaghan, guitarist Kennedy Brock, bassist Garrett Nickelsen, guitarist Jared Momaco and drummer Pat Kirch. The Maine was determined to do something different and stand out as originals. They draw inspiration from 90s radio rock bands who happen to be their strongest influences and mixing it with their own original style and writing.
"The Way We Talk is a collection of songs that revolve around the theme of communication while in a relationship and how it changes as we grow up. This EP really begins to show how we are transitioning musically and demonstrates our new attitude toward writing," says John.
Check out The Maine as they come through your town this winter "Playing live is the reason we exist," says Jared. This shines through in their live show as five guys from AZ, some currently in high school, take the stage playing like seasoned professionals.
