As you may have noticed, Rolling Stone is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year. In this Wednesday’s USA Today, the newspaper looked back at our history and revealed their favorite RS covers. We liked the idea so much, we’re gonna take it. For this weekend’s Rock List, we’re asking you what covers in the magazine’s history you’ve found most iconic, striking or memorable. We’ll reveal the final list in a gallery on Monday.
