A few days ago, Amy Winehouse confused the crowd at the MTV Europe Music Awards with a woozy, bored and downright incomprehensible version of “Back to Black.” The performance reminded us of something, which burned in our cerebrum until today, when we realized it was nearly the same as Bob Dylan’s woozy, bored and downright incomprehensible version of “Masters of War” from the 1991 Grammys.
