THE RAVEONETTES PREMIERE LUST ON MYSPACE, UNVEIL NEW VIDEO, OFFER UP SIGNED GUITAR

The Raveonettes’ highly-anticipated Vice debut is currently streaming in its entirety on the band’s Myspace page. Lust Lust Lust, due out February 19th, features the Danish duo of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo eschewing past records’ boney directness for a skuzzier, darker sonic palette. In other news, Wagner recently created a homemade video for Lust track “You Want The Candy.” The DIY clip features archival footage from past live performances, studio sessions, tour-stop tomfoolery, and a few appearances from the song’s candy-coated inspiration: Richard Gottehrer, the music industry vet (and Orchard founder) who wrote “I Want Candy” and “My Boyfriend’s Back,” and helmed records for Richard Hell & The Voidoids, Blondie,and a host of others.
