JEREMY FISHER NOMINATED FOR 2 JUNO AWARDS
His new album, Goodbye Blue Monday, which was released by Wind-Up in the U.S. and was produced by Hawksley Workman, is a timeless burst of acoustic rock 'n' roll that's brainy, playful and provocative. "Cigarette" --the song whose homemade stop-motion animation video yielded about 2 million views on YouTube -- employs the cancer stick as a metaphor for addictive relationships. Fisher, who is based in Vancouver, previously released Let It Shine and his debut, Back Porch Spirituals.
