Now I am NOT someone who gives props to cover bands or tribute bands. I believe the only real music is that which is ORIGINAL... but I just have to tell you about this.
Apparently, Led Zeppelin is not available to play this year's Bonnaroo Festival, but it seems the organizers have found the next best thing- Lez Zeppelin. An all female tribute band.
Now, why should you care? They're actually pretty good! They got a recent write-up in Rolling Stone (for what it's worth) and have a number of dates on their calendar..rocking faces across the US.
The novelty of this is of course appealing, but if they couldn't successfully pull it off, I can't imagine anyone actually booking them. They're no mini-KISS.
